This Cookie Policy expands on the Cookies & Tracking section of our Privacy Policy. Where the two pages overlap, the fuller explanation here is meant to be read alongside — not instead of — our Privacy Policy, which remains the authoritative statement of how AfriGRC handles personal data more broadly.

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website or web application. They let a site remember information about your visit — such as keeping you signed in — from one page load to the next, or across separate visits.

Similar technologies, such as local storage, can serve a comparable purpose. For simplicity, this page refers to all of these collectively as "cookies."

Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies through their own settings — consult your browser's help documentation for how to do so. Because only Essential cookies are currently in use, blocking them may affect the ability to stay signed in or otherwise use the Platform as intended.

A dedicated in-product cookie preference center is planned for if and when non-essential cookie categories are introduced — see Cookie Categories We Use above for their current status. This section will be updated once that mechanism exists.

AfriGRC does not currently set third-party advertising or marketing cookies on this site. If a future integration introduces one, it will be reflected here and in the Cookie Categories above before it takes effect.
